Pecan Street Brewing Company is a family owned casual brewpub with American fare and rotating beers on tap. It is a place to relax while connecting with friends in a casual atmosphere. At Pecan Street Brewing, they celebrate the art of craft by featuring fresh handcrafted cocktails, brewed on-site craft beer and Texas Wines. The beers compliment their menu of brick-oven pizzas, fresh salads, burgers and unique southern dishes. Their selection of craft beers can be enjoyed in the restaurant, or while dancing to one of the many live bands featured on weekends. They also have a pet friendly Biergarten that provides a relaxed ambiance. It is a favorite spot in Texas Hill Country for self service or closed private events.

Brewing since 1996, Real Ale Brewing Co is a "beautiful spot in the hill country". They have a "great selection of beers and flights". This brewery "now has spirits as well and their craft beers to go". With "super friendly staff" and "laid back hill country experience", a visit is "great any day of the week but lower-key weekdays". They also "do a great job of hosting events with an awesome taproom and party area". You can choose from a "wide selection of on-site brewed beers" as well as "bourbon and gin, which is pretty darn good!" They are also a reputable supporter of "the running and cycling community and are big giving back to the community".

If you are a local of Blanco, Texas (and of age to drink), you should try one of the many beers made by Real Ale Brewing Company, to toast to the success of this homegrown brand. If you are visiting, have a sip at least. Consider it trying to get a good feel of the local vibe and culture. With decades of experience in making beer and considerable success to go with it, I am willing to bet I won't stop at one bottle. With a variety as extensive as this, there is surely at least one type of beer best suited to my liking.
