Buttercups Patch is a family farm owned by a husband and wife farm team. This is a 20-acre farm in Buna, Southeast Texas. They have hens on free-range pasture and good ol’ Southeast Texas fresh air and sunshine. A fibromyalgia medical diagnosis with the wife led them to get into the chicken and egg business. They then decided to eat more organic and wholesome foods. Instead of buying eggs, they raised hens to produce eggs. They also try to have strawberry popcorn garlic and Indian corn along with pasture-raised pork and free-range chicken eggs and meat goats for sale. Full Expression Farm is a family farm that offers cows, heifers, and calves for sale. They also have ewe lambs available for sale occasionally. All the animals are 100% grass-fed, no antibiotics, chemicals, pesticides or fertilizers used. Also, steers for slaughter are available but you pay $5/lb hanging weight and processing fees. You can find this farm of 250 acres of rolling hills and wooded creek beds located between Trenton and Leonard, Texas. Their eggs, beef and lamb products are also available through Pure Pastures at the Dallas Farmers Market. HerbanEggs has "the best customer service and best organic eggs!" It is "delicious" and "the chickens are beautiful and well cared for". The chickens are also registered with the Texas Animal Health Commission and of National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP). The herbs, produce, plants and chicks and fertile eggs for hatching are available from time to time. They also plant Texas Tulips and Daffodils and are also breeding Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goats. As posted on their website, they have moved to Wheelock, Texas for larger produce gardens, more grazing areas for animals and native wildflower meadows. They will have a grand re-opening in Spring 2020.

Lindley Organic Farm is a 150-year-old family farm. It is located off Hwy. 80 halfway between Dallas, TX and Shreveport, LA in the East Texas community of Hainesville. John and Pam Trent bought the farm from her family in 2004. They chose the Heritage Devon and Milking Devon cattle due to their excellent performance on grass. Devon’s were originally used as a triple purpose breed for beef, dairy, and draft work.
