Grayson County is a county situated in the state of Texas. Sherman is the county’s seat. Peter Wagener Grayson was the namesake of the county. He was an attorney general of the Republic of Texas. The county was originally founded in 1846. The settlement of the county started rising when the Houston and Texas Central Railroad and the Missouri, Kansas Railroad were starting to operate the county’s area. Some of the top tourist sights that you can spot are Eisenhower State Park, Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, Lake Texoma, and Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site.
