Cannon Creek Vineyards' tasting room is located on-site at the vineyard which is visible in from the road, just 7 miles south of the Square in Canton. The tasting room is located in the Red Barn adjacent to the farmhouse "with great views of the vineyards". This is a "fabulous place to enjoy a glass of wine or a bottle". The owners are"very informative of the wine specifics" and passionate about their craft. They harvest grapes at their peak, then ferment slow and cool to bring out their bold flavors and predominate aromas.
"Green Goat is a MUST if you're on Farm-to-Market Hwy 279 between Canton and Tyler". They have "very nice decor but the hospitality" is "the best" and "the owner Rip and his wife and staff are great people to chat with while you sample your wine". They also "have indoor and outdoor seating and all the great choices of wine to go with it". You may even be back to "enjoy relaxing in the country setting while looking at all the beautiful rows of grapevines". Their "wine selection includes something for everyone (sweet to dry)". They also have live music "on Friday and Saturday evenings".
