The company is proud to use only the freshest local and organic ingredients while consciously controlling the brewing process up to distribution. The company is completely independent of the big brands, and features draft beers sold in reusable kegs. Instead of Bisphenol-A (BPA) lined aluminum, they serve their beers in durable glass. Perhaps a testament to their popularity, they were the largest buyers of organic malted barley in Texas in 2016. Catch them at over 715 locations around Texas. Even better, for $12 per person, drop by for their open house on Saturdays from noon to 4:00pm. The fee includes a tour of the brewery's facilities, 6 samples, and a logo glass. You can also attend one of their Cellar Sessions, an intimate live music session filmed at the brewery featuring a musical artist.

4th Tap Brewing Cooperative

The 4th Tap Brewing Cooperative is Texas’ first worker-owned brewery, and one of the first in the U.S.  It took the founders 6 years of planning, and they finally opened in November 2015. Today, each person you see making, selling, or serving their delicious craft beers owns a piece of 4th Tap. The brewery is located in north Austin. The taproom was “designed to bring together [the] neighborhood… and share 4th Tap’s love of beer, art, music, and much more.” And, wrestling is one of those “much more”. The taproom is open daily and there’s a wrestling ring in the back for occasional wrestling matches. “Party World Rasslin’” (PWR) is one of the special events aligned with their mantra “Brew. Share. Party. Repeat.” There are three “core beer line-up” and several others on seasonal rotation at the taproom. Some of the varieties come in cans and are available for purchase.

Adelbert’s Brewery is an award-winning microbrewery in Austin. Established in 2011 and named after founder Scott Hovey’s brother, George Adelbert “Del” Hovey, the brewery imbues all its brews with Del’s spirit of adventure and love for travel. The brewery is proud of their hands-on brewing process which uses only quality ingredients, and several of their brews have won many awards. Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches started in 2017 as a family-owned and operated kolache bakery, taproom, and retail craft beer shop. Founders and brothers Noah and Josh Lit introduced Austinites to their preference of downing their kolaches with their favorite beers. Batch's beer selection came from local craft breweries and European breweries. In addition, they also had cans and bottles from many breweries, and coffee for non-beer drinkers. After a couple of years just serving other breweries’ beers with their kolaches, the brothers collaborated with John Snyder and Heath Shuford. Together, they launched a 2019 Kickstarter campaign to start their own brewery. Batch has since released their first batch for their 2nd year anniversary celebration in August 2019 – a “saison aged in Cabernet barrels with pink peppercorns, Texas wildflower honey, and dandelion”. They also sold Batch Bottle Club, Elite Brewery, and Beer for Life memberships, which ended in October 2019.
