EIEIO's Organic Farm is a Family-Run Farm in Wimberley, Texas Since 2007. What started as a crazy inspiration has become an incredible journey!

It all started in Austin, 2007.  4 yr old Max & Kathleen were watching “Charlotte’s Web” for like the 30th time when he turned to her and said,  “Mom..why don’t we move out into the country, start a farm, call it EIEIO’S and get a pig named Wilbur”!!  Laughing and crying they jumped into action and within a few months had found their land in Wimberley.

The farm sits on 12 acres just 2 minutes from Wimberley Square! It is surrounded by beautiful Oak and Pecan trees right on the creek. They also make homemade organic condiments, which you can purchase at the Farmer's Markets or on their website.

The Artisan Jams and Jellies that they produce are Wine Infused, Champagne Infused, Tequila Infused and Pepper Infused. All of the Jams and Jellies are made right in the kitchen of Brazos River Provisions. They are made in small batches from the best ingredients. They do not use fillers, artificial flavors or colors. Most days customers are welcomed to the store with the aroma of Jelly being made in the kitchen.

Need to full-fill your salsa craving? Cita’s Salsa produces “award winning salsas”, delicious take-home dinners, and easy grab-and-go lunches made fresh every day with “real and natural” ingredients. Cita’s Salsa is an East Dallas company started by Mother (Cita) and Daughter specializing in producing yummy varieties of freshly made all-natural salsa in small batches. The only thing worse than an overworked salsa with too many ingredients is a weak, national supermarket brand jar of tomato-flavored water. Cita's is neither of those. It's substantial enough to ride out a perilous journey from the community bowl to your face without dripping, but light enough that it won't spoil your appetite. All of their salsas, fresh juices, tamales, and meals are so good! They also have other varieties including turkey meatloaf and pork with rice and black beans.

Hot Damn Tamales offers a great selection of tamales, crawfish, wild mushrooms & goat cheese.  "Stick with the classics" or go for something more adventurous... but "still reliably delicious!"  They have the usual pork or chicken or try out the Spinach Feta Olive, Red Bell Carrot Serrano, Cajun Crawfish, Beef Tenderloin, or the Wild Mushroom and Goat Cheese.  And if you can't get enough of cheese, try the Three-Cheese Queso, and the Pork Ancho.  If you are vegetarian, you can still enjoy Hot Damn Tamales' offerings as they have several options of vegan tamales.  Try their chips and salsa as well!  

The family that owns and operates the Stanford Family Farms of today is related to the farmers who tend the land in Northeast Texas as early as the 1900s. Located in Dallas, Texas, Stanford Family Farms focus on two things. First, they want to teach others the ropes of urban farming. Another thing they do is make and sell freshly-made food, sourced from fellow local farmers. They have marinated mushrooms, chicken broth, and mushroom broth. They also have ingredients for making pies, like fillings, toppings, and doughs. Once the bread is ready, you'll need a jam, or jelly, or marmalade for added sweetness.
