R & R Farms was established by a retired Air Force Veteran, Ray, and his wife, Rhonda, to harvest and sell locally grown produce in the West Texas panhandle.  They started out by growing produce for themselves as they didn't like the stuff they saw at the market and groceries and has then expanded by them catering to their area.  Its mission is "to be a year-round local source for high-quality, healthy produce for the Lubbock community." R & R Farms offers eggs, fruits and vegetables, as well as preserves and jams.  These are all fresh and all-natural, grown using organic practices and sustainable agriculture, with no chemicals added to the soil or the plants.  The poultry are also raised free-range and are organically fed.

Nothing says farm fresh than buying at a roadside market. Here, you have a clear view of where the fruits and vegetables you are buying came from. You can see the land and sky that nurtured it. You can see where these ripe fruits and vegetables were harvested, and it makes us feel good. That, and the famous Nelda's peach preserves. Jenschke Farms is a beautiful farm located in the Texas Hill Country. It was purchased by Ruby and Eugine Jenschke in 1947. It is now owned and operated by their son, Billy Jenschke. One day he decided to follow his dream and start small truck farming in the early 1970's and by 1992 he opened a small produce store in Kerrville Texas. Unfortunately, after 28 great years, he had to close the store and has now created an online business. Most of the products that they carry on their online store are made in Texas and made with produce sourced locally. Their pickled okra are made from okras grown right there at the farm. They also carry new crop pecans from Junction, Texas and their canned peaches and peach cider are made from peaches from Stonewall, Texas.
