Review of 4th Tap Brewing Cooperative by TexasRealFood
The 4th Tap Brewing Cooperative is Texas’ first worker-owned brewery, and one of the first in the U.S. It took the founders 6 years of planning, and they finally opened in November 2015. Today, each person you see making, selling, or serving their delicious craft beers owns a piece of 4th Tap.
The brewery is located in north Austin. The taproom was “designed to bring together [the] neighborhood… and share 4th Tap’s love of beer, art, music, and much more.” And, wrestling is one of those “much more”. The taproom is open daily and there’s a wrestling ring in the back for occasional wrestling matches. “Party World Rasslin’” (PWR) is one of the special events aligned with their mantra “Brew. Share. Party. Repeat.” There are three “core beer line-up” and several others on seasonal rotation at the taproom. Some of the varieties come in cans and are available for purchase.
