Located in beautiful downtown Giddings, Texas, The City Meat Market is a “great place to stop for some BBQ.” It has been a local favorite since the early 1960's. The meat market provides Central Texas with the “freshest cuts of meat, custom processing, and delicious barbecue” smoked on the grill daily. The brisket is “slow cooked to perfection” and the sausage is made on site and ranks among the best. They also have great sauces and sides! City Meat Market is something to not be missed when traveling through this part of the country. Some of their featured items include pork butt, pork ribs, beef sausage, chicken, pork chops, pork steaks, and several different cuts of beef steaks.
