At Dobecka Family Farm in Killeen, David and Stacy Dobecka are the stewards of a self-supporting family farm that "produces quality grass-fed beef" on their leased-land of 150 acres. Moreover, they take pride in raising their cattle "without using antibiotics or hormones". Also, these animals only eat quality coastal and sorghum hays. They only live on plantings of winter rye and natural Texas grasses. Furthermore, the owners provide a salt lick and mineral blocks in winter for mommas with young calves. These foods help replace lost nutrients due to dry hay feedings. You can "buy their beef by the quarter for $3.00 per pound" hanging weight.
