Review of Frisco Rotary Farmers Market by TexasRealFood

The Frisco Noons Lions Club started the Frisco Rotary Farmers Market in 2007 to benefit the community. Today, the Rotary Club of Frisco is continuing the non-profit entity that has become a Frisco Saturday tradition. Shoppers find organic non-GMO fresh produce, pastured meats, free-range eggs, baked goods, crafts, and other artisanal items. The market’s mission supports the farmers’ market tradition of Frisco through the preservation of its agricultural heritage while making fresh and nutritious produce available to the community. More importantly, proceeds from the market benefit the Rotary Club of Frisco and fund its various projects. According to Brandy Miles, charter president of the Lions Club when they first started the market, the market project is “a community service project first and foremost”. This is a market where customers are actually giving back to the community when they shop!
