They are working with the San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA). This place is San Antonio Eastside's first "gardopia" or garden utopia. A place where neighbors grow their food and transform their community. It is "a peaceful place to relax, engage in the community, and practice gardening". Gardopia Gardens is also "a great place to learn about organic gardening via hand-on learning". They are also a "great local resource for gardening". Furthermore, "they deliver a great composted gardening soil mix". Check out their website if you want to join their programs. These include Build-A-Garden & Optimization Program, Garden-Based Learning Program (GBL), Garden Volunteer Program, and Pearl Farmers Market Program.
