Rude and Racist??? I stopped by at 10:52 a.m. to order BBQ for takeout because I had heard Hurtado's was good. I opened the door and walked in. One of their staff members inside asked what I wanted. I said hi and said I would like to place an order for takeout. She told me they didn't open until 11 a.m. (8 minutes from my arrival) and asked if I could wait outside (in the 100 degree heat). I was standing out of the way of anyone and there was another man waiting inside beside me who did not appear to work. It looked to me like he was there to pickup an order; they dd not ask him to wait outside. I left choosing not to place an order with people who are rude, and I felt were discriminating against me. If you don't want to open until 11 a.m., keep the doors locked and don't allow anyone in unless they are working there. They clearly didn't care about my business because they are comfortable knowing they will sell out. I hope others choose to avoid businesses that are rude and discriminating. I certainly choose to do that.
