Verdegreens’ Farms was founded in 2016 and are one of the few urban farms in the greater Houston Area. It is located on a small .98 acre lot in the northwest quadrant of the city. Utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to maximize output while using 1/10th of the water of a traditional farm, minimizing fertilizer runoff, and using zero pesticides or herbicides. They have "the freshest salad greens you will ever taste". It "will spoil you against ever wanting grocery store salad" and it "will stay fresh in your fridge for weeks". They have "very beautiful, fresh lettuces". Plus, "so many beautiful varieties, and a fun environment at the farmers' markets around town!"
