The daiquiri has a unique following in San Antonio, commonly referred to as "Slam Antonio", where bartenders hang their hat on making the best daiquiri. More than just three ingredients – the best know how to implement rum expressions and creative fusions to elicit depth within the cocktail. The DASHI Daq-Off Throwdown encompasses three categories: Speed [technical], Judge’s Choice [technical + artistic], and People’s Choice [volume]. Exclusively sponsored by Bacardi rum brands, competing teams will have an array of rum styles to wow the judges and the audience.
Equipped with MC celebrity Michael Neff, a People's Correspondent, live hype music, Food Network - rock concert - and coliseum-style format, teams will be tested to throw down in front of up to 150 guests with all eye’s watching. Don’t miss this championship event sponsored exclusively by Bacardi and portfolio brands, for what may be the most profound cocktail competition in the United States. Expect fireworks during the event that revitalized a city-wide movement known as Third Coast Cocktail Summit (receiving a portion of the proceeds).
