Get ready to raise your beer steins and join us for five days of Oktoberfest celebrations! From Wednesday through Sunday, we're rolling out the barrels and tapping into the spirit of Bavaria. This year, we're proud to introduce our new Oktoberfest beer, already earning rave reviews – thanks to our award-winning brewer straight from Germany! Kicking off on Wednesday, October 18th, we have a special treat for you – Mayor Ron Nirenberg will host our Oktoberfest Keg Tapping and Beer Stein Hold Competition! At 5:30pm, witness the ceremonial keg tapping and opening ceremony, unveiling our best-ever Oktoberfest brew. Then, at 6pm, test your strength and endurance in our Beer Steinholding Competition (there's even a Kids' Root Beer Hold Competition for the little ones!). Plus, if you aspire to qualify for the 2023 Texas Steinholding State Championship Finals, this is your chance. Join us, Mayor Ron Nirenberg, and the U.S. Steinholding Association-certified judges for the final chance to earn your spot in the state championships.
To sweeten the deal, winners not only get bragging rights but also take home a commemorative stein, an Alamo Beer Company prize pack, and an exclusive invitation to the State Competition in Fredericksburg on Saturday.
