Boerne is a Texas City in Kendall County, in the United States. Boerne serves as Kendall’s County Seat. The name Boerne is in honor of a German publicist and author Ludwig Borne. The town is famous for a Supreme Court case City of Boerne vs. Flores. In its early years, Boerne, found in 1849, was popular among natives as Tusculum. The name later changed in 1852 to Boerne. This city is home to rich poetry content, which has an impact on the Boerne Library, which is open to the public. Boerne hosts the Guadalupe Valley poetry celebration which directly impacts the Boerne Library.
