Bulverde is found in Comal County in the US state of Texas. The founders of this town are Germanic emigrants, although its native people were Americans. This city is considered as a small town with a relatively slow pace or speed of life. Originally, it was named Piepers, a name it acquired from its German founder, Anton Pieper. Bulverde is part of the larger San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city’s approximate area is 9.7 square miles, according to the Census Bureau of the United States. Out of this, about 0.01 square miles is covered by water. The city got its first local post office in the year 1879.
