A community was established in western Leon County and was named Concord in 1856. Before then, a Concord Baptist Church and a Concord Cemetery were already built. Located between Concord and Robbin, the post office operated from 1884 until 1904. Concord School was consolidated with the Centerville schools in 1948. Concord School had operated for almost a century. According to 2000 census, the community had 28 residents. On 2011, a wildfire occurred on Labor Day weekend which destroyed the Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Today the home economics building remained as a community center, polling place and post office.
