The United States city of Elsa is found in Hidalgo County in the state of Texas. The city had a population of 5,660 as per the 2010 census. It is bordered to the west by La Blanca and Edcouch City to the east. This city covers an area of about 1.5 square miles that is purely land, according to the US Census Bureau. Elsa’s post office is operated by the US postal service. Apart from a public library in the city, Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District serves the students from the community. Elsa received its first settlers in 1800.
