The US city of Euless is found in Tarrant County in Texas State. It is a suburb of Fort Worth and Dallas. The city’s population in 2010 was 51,277, according to the 2010 census. The city is named in honor of Elisha Adam Euless, a migrant from Tennessee who bought 170 acres of land in the area. Euless began a community center and cotton gin on his property and his prominence grew quickly among fellow settlers. This led to his election as county sheriff in 1892 and again in 1894. He would later retire citing health reasons. The community would later develop around his land, leading to locals naming the city in his honor.
