Garden Ridge is a city located in Comal County in Texas. As of the 2010 census, the city’s population was 3,259 residents. The town has no history in the 19th century and also very little history in the twentieth. Garden Ridge was incorporated in 1972 making it the first new town in 127 years. The original population of the town was 230, it grew up to 647 at the 1980 census to what it is today. As stated by the U.S Bureau, the town’s total area is 7.3 square miles. Comal Independent School District distributes the public education system of the city. Some of the best tourist attractions of the city are Natural Bridge Caverns, Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, and Bracken Cave Reserve.
