Glen Flora is an unincorporated coterie located in Wharton County in Texas. The community is located on the junction of Farm to Market Road 102 and Farm to Market Road 960. The community started off in the 1890s when a Pennsylvanian by the name of C.H. Waterhouse purchased the land on the west bank of the Colorado River. Glen Flora had an estimated population of 210 according to the Handbook of Texas in the year 2000. Even though the community isn’t incorporated, it has a post office. The public education of Glen Flora is being provided by the Wharton Independent School District.
