The Pint and Barrel Drafthouse is a great place to enjoy a pint and some of their flavorful pub food. Situated in Old Palestine, Texas, the Pint and Barrel Drafthouse has over 18 different brews that you can try out. Their menu also has some Texas beer-match favorites like pulled pork sandwiches, or enjoy a customized burger with different styles to choose from.

Stesti means “happiness” in Czech and Stesti Brewing Company hopes you can drink some from their glass or bottle. The brewery was originally called "Dej Bůh Štěstí" Brewing Company, or “God gives happiness”. The phrase is a traditional saying by Czech brewmasters. Owners Dennis and Ana Gore shortened it so it's easier to remember. The small family-owned brewery specializes in Czech-style beers. Master brewer Dennis is a surgeon and professor on most days, and studied his craft in Plzeň, Czech Republic under renowned Czech masters. Wife Ana is the brewery’s business manager. Unlike most breweries, they don't have a taproom. Instead, they only conduct tours and tastings at their beautiful property in Lovelady. They require a two-day advance notice, and there you can sample their flagship beers Pivo Pils and Bohemian Lager, and some seasonal varieties. Otherwise, check your local supermarkets for their bottled beers. Traditionally, Czech lagers come in bottles not cans.

Angelina Brewing Co. is a newly-opened addition to Lufkin’s historic downtown. It’s a craft brewery and restaurant “born as part of a vision of restoring historic communities”.  Founded in 2017, it opened its doors to the public in June 2019. The brewery intends to be Lufkin's gathering place that brings the community together “one pint at a time”. The pub serves a variety of craft beers and is also a full-service restaurant. It’s family-friendly, too, with pub grub, sandwiches, and more for mom and dad. There's a special kids’ menu for the kiddos, too. You can taste up to ten varieties of craft beers from their tap, and take home some with a growler (available unfilled at $12). The brewery is open from Mondays to Saturdays. Established in 2017, Fredonia Brewery is Nacogdoches first microbrewery. Owned and operated by friends Paul Murray and Vince Beard, the brewery takes its name from a significant period in Texas history, the Fredonia Rebellion and the establishment of the Fredonia Republic (1826-1827). The rebellion marks the "Anglo settlers' first attempts to secede from Mexico". Enjoy Fredonia’s selection of seven year-round beers and several seasonal brews at their brew house and taproom. The taproom features handcrafted local yellow pine furnishings and a black walnut bar top. It also showcases a unique beer can collection donated by the Allerden family of Ohio. The collection has over 2400 unique cans collected since 1959. The brewery also has a family-friendly and dog-friendly covered patio and beer garden. For the kiddos, there’s root beer available.
