Located in Western Kerr County, Hunt is an unincorporated coterie. It is also located at the center of the Hill Country of Texas. Hunt is situated at the intersection of the South and North Forks of the Guadalupe River. The community used to go by the name of Japonica, it was then changed to Hunt when Alva Joy bought the land right from Bob Hunt. North of Hunt, there was a replica of Stonehenge built. The replica was moved to Point Theater that is located in the city of Ingram. On Highway 39, there is a gas station being held close to the heart by the locals.
