Irving is a principal city in Texas. It is located in Dallas County. As stated by the census, in 2018, there was an estimate of around 242,242 population of the city. This makes the city the thirteenth most populated city in Texas. The town was founded in 1903. By Otis Brown and J.O “Otto”. It is believed that the town gained its name from a literary author Washington Irvin who was favored by Netta Barcus Brown. The town was incorporated on April 14th, 1914. With Otis Brown being the first mayor. Some of the top sights in Irving comprise Grapevine Lake, Irving Arts Center, The Mustangs of Las Colinas Museum, and Mandalay Canal Walk at Las Colinas.
