Joinerville is a coterie that is unincorporated. It is located in East Texas and is a part of Rusk County. The city is located 7 miles west of Rusk County seat, Henderson. The town was originally called Cyril, after that, it was called Miller. The name was officially changed to what it is today in the glory of an oilman who discovered the world’s largest oilfield, just a few miles away. The total population of this community is 140 as of the 2000 census. When the oil business was growing, the community’s population was rising up to 1,500. But, in 1940, the oil business already reached its highest potential so the population soonly diminished.
