Jonesboro is an unincorporated coterie located in both Hamilton and Coryell counties placed in Central Texas. The community was originally known as Jones Mill. The original school of the city was built back in 1869. And was used until 1928. When there was another school built, this one was relevant to the community all until 1975. When the school that is still in use opened. The Coryell part of Jonesboro is a part of the Killeen-Temple FH Statistical Area. By the state of KCC Jonesboro is distinguished by humid and hot summers and mild winters. The community possesses a humid subtropical climate.
