Justin is a city located in Denton County in Texas. As of the 2010 census, the population of the town was 3,246. It is a popular belief that the town has gotten its name from Justin Boots (Footwear Brand). In January 1887. The coterie citizens signed a petition for the post office to be named Justin, in the glory of Justin Sherman, a chief engineer of Santa Fe Railroad. By the state of the U.S Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.4 square miles all of it being land. The city is distributed by Northwest Independent School District.
