Kendalia is an unincorporated coterie located in northeastern Kendall County in Texas. Kendalia is placed at the junction of RM 473 and FM 3351, northeast of Kendall County’s seat, Bourne. It is said that the community was named after an early colonist George Wilkins Kendall. The community was explored in 1883. But the post office was established twelve years later in 1895. The community’s economy was mostly gained by farmers and ranchers, but in modern Kendalia, most of the citizens work in city’s such as San Antonio and Blanco. You can visit the Kendalia Halle and have fun while singing and dancing.
