Kendleton is situated in Fort Bend County in Texas. The population of the city was just 380 as of the 2010 census. Kendleton got its name because it used to be a plantation of William E. Kendall. Kendall diverged the plantation is small different farms and sold them to former African American slaves. The coterie of these small farms put together was known as Kendleton.
