Kingsland is a CDP located in Llano County in Texas. At the 2010 census, the population of the community was 6,030. The town is located at the junction of the Llano and Colorado rivers which together form Lake Lyndon B. Johnson. J.M. Trussel and Martin D. King bought the area that would become Kingsland in 1877. Marin contributed to the name of the community. The town has been known as retirement heaven after the 1960s, this boosted the town’s population in the upcoming years. Some of the best tourist attractions located in the community are Longhorn Cavern Park. Inks Lake State Park, and Perissos Vineyard and Winery.
