Kopperi is an unincorporated coterie located in Bosque County in Texas. It is situated on the northwestern end of Lake Whitney, and the town’s population is around 225 in 2008. The town is located fourteen miles of Meridian, which is the county seat of Bosque County. Kopperi was fortified in 1881. The town’s a banker from Galveston. It was established as a shipping point. Kopperi is served by its own Independent School District. The town has gained its name from the Santa Fe railroad director, Moritz Kopperi. The peak of the population was 329 in 1904. Since then the population was in total decline until 1970. Since then the population endured consistency.
