The husband and wife initially envisioned the brewery as “Denton’s second living room”, where Denton residents can “(hang) out on your couch”. These days, they call it Denton’s “adult playground (with) board games, trivia nights, delicious appetizers, and the coolest bar staff”. The brewery has been serving craft beers “born and brewed in Denton” since 2017. Besides their house brews, they also serve a selection of wine, sake, ciders, and beers from other local breweries. It was a long road to opening their own brewery for Armadillo Ale Works founders Bobby Mullins and Yianni Arestis. The brewery finally opened its doors on June 1, 2018, but their story starts much earlier. It actually starts in 2010 when the resilient duo won a grant to pursue their dream of brewing their own beers.
