Lago Vista is a city located in Travis County in Texas. At the 2010 census, the town’s population was 6,041. The town is located on the north shore of Travis Lake and is twenty miles northwest of Austin, which is the county seat of Travis County and the Capital city of Texas. As stated by the U.S Bureau, the town has a total area of 15.2 square miles, with four percent of it being water. Some of the top sights located in Lago Vista are Pace Bend Park and Lake Travis. The town was incorporated in 1984. With a council-manager system. The city manager today is Josh Ray.
