Lake Jackson is a city situated in Brazoria County in Texas. The town’s population was 26,849 as of the 2010 census. The city, also known as “City of Enchantment” was first established in 1941. The town was designed by Alden B. Dow. The city was incorporated on March 14th 1944. The city of Lake Jackson has a total area of 20.9 square miles as stated by the U.S Bureau. Seven percent of the town’s area is water. Some of the top sights in Lake Jackson are Sea Center Texas, Brazosport Museum of Natural Science, Lake Jackson Historical Museum, and Gulf Coast Bird Observatory.
