Lake Worth is a city located in Tarrant County in Texas. At the 2010 census, the town’s population was 4,584. The city gained its name because of its proximity to Lake Worth. As the U.S Bureau states, the town has a total area of 2.5 square miles, while all of it is land. The city itself is provided by its own Independent School District. Some of the top tourist destinations located in Lake Worth are Forth Worth Nature Center & Refuge, Airfield Falls Trailhead and & Conservation Park, and Twin Points Park. The city of Lake Worth has gained its incorporation in 1949.
