Leonard is a city located in Fannin County in Texas. The town’s population was 1,990 as of the 2010 census. The history of the city came to be on the 22nd of July, 1880. When the lots in the area were sold. The school and the post office were established the following year. The town’s population increased from 50 to 350 in just five years of existence. The community mainly produced cotton, with corn and wheat as side crops. The U.S Bureau states that the total area of the community is 2.30 square miles, while all of it is land.
