Llano is a city located in Llano County in Texas. The town is also the county seat. The town’s population was 3,232 as of the 2010 census. The community was established on the first of February 1856. The Llano River was picked as the spot of the foundation on June 14th that same year. In the 1870s, the town had a post office, some business establishments, and a few log buildings. Some of the top tourist attractions in the city are Robinson City Park, Llano Red Top Jail, Badu Park, and Leonard Grenwelge County Park. The city is provided by its own Independent School District. The town’s total area as stated by the U.S Bureau is 4.7 square miles, 0.3 square miles of it is water.
