Lorenzo is a city situated in Crosby County in Texas. At the 2010 census, the town’s population was 1,147, it has fallen a bit since the 2000 census, around two hundred residents lower. Lorenzo Dow purchased the lands on the second of April in 1910. He is also the reason behind the city’s name. The town was also incorporated on the second of April but fourteen years after the community was established. The town’s population hasn’t fallen beneath one thousand since the 1950s. The public education system is provided by the Lorenzo Independent School District. Lorenzo’s total area is just one square mile as of the U.S Bureau.
