Lytle is a city located in three different counties: Atascosa, Bexar and Medina counties in Texas. As of the 2010 census, the town’s population was 2,492. The city was founded in 1892 by Captain Juan. T. Lytle who was a Mexican. The town was a railroad station and was later on incorporated on the twenty-seventh of October in 1951. The town’s total area was 4.5 square miles according to the U.S Bureau, almost all of it is land. The town’s public school system is mostly being distributed by the Lytle Independent School District, a portion of it is provided by the Natalia Independent School District.
