The Cherry Laurel was established in 1990 by two best friends, Bonnie and Linda, after they transformed a dilapidated house into a restaurant that provided homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and “a casual and unique dining experience” to the citizens of Athens, Texas.  Then in 1997, a beloved local bakery owner passed the reins to Bonnie and Linda, giving rise to The Cherry Laurel Bakery, especially after they perfected their amazing Butterum cake.  Now the Cherry Laurel Bakery, Café and Catering, they serve tasty salads, soups, sandwiches, baked potatoes, wraps and sandwiches, as well as breads, cinnamon rolls, pies and other pastries. And of course, their decadent and beautifully decorated cakes that can be ordered for any and every occasion.

2M Bakeology stands for two cutie bakers, Mason and Maddox, who started baking when they were about 3 or 4 years old. Despite their young age, these two found their passion in baking and even enter competitions! From their signature challah bread and brownies, they’ve got lots more “uncommon things” that they try out in the kitchen! But whatever you grab from their baking masterpieces, “you will fall in love with the first bite!”
