The United States City of Robstown sits at the junction of State Highway 44 and U.S Highway 77 in Nueces County in the state of Texas. George Paul a real estate developer from Washington first established this city in 1906. George founded this city at the Brownsville-Mexican and Texas Mexican railway junction. The establishment of the Winter Garden Region and oil discovery led to the tremendous growth of this area. Robstown was incorporated in 1912. Later in 1948, the mayor's governance was implemented in this city. The city mainly flourished in agriculture and the oil industry. The city was named after Robert Driscoll.
