The city of Roma is found in Starr County in Texas State, United States. The city plays an important role as an entry port from Mexico. Roma is also referred to as Roma-Los Saenz after it took over the Los Saenz area. By 1848, Roma was the only area with a post office in Sarr County. The name Roma was suggested by the Mary Immaculate Oblates. Later in 1927, an international suspension bridge was constructed in this area. A new community center, a fire and police building were also constructed after 1979. Roma is one of the most renowned colonial townsites.
