Seabrook is a city in Harris County in the U.S. state of Texas. Some of the water surfaces that are a part of the city are actually in a neighboring county. It has a population of 12.000 according to the last census. It was established in 1895 and it was known for its fish markets. Seabrook is host to the Texas Concours d'Elegance "Keels & Wheels" classic car and boat show held each year the first weekend in May at Lakewood Yacht Club. It’s also home to the Pelican project, where city businesses took the pelican bird as their symbol and turned it into a part of their brand, which greatly improved tourism.
