Streetman is a town in Freestone and Navarro counties in the U.S. state of Texas. It has a population of about 240. The Navarro parts of the city are mostly underdeveloped or even completely empty. A median income for the family living in Streetman is about $33.000. The railway came into the area in 1905 and that’s when the town came to be as well. The population grew up until the 1940 and then it saw a decline as is the case with most of the area. Firpo Marberry, famous Major League Baseball pitcher in the 1920s and 1930s, pitched in the 1924, 1925 and 1934 World Series.
