Country Spring Vineyard and Winery formally opened early 2019 and is located on 33 acres, near Lorena, Texas (10 miles south of Waco). They have a five-acre vineyard at the end of their driveway that was first planted in 2013 with the winery on the other side. A patio area with fire pit and waterfall can be seen in the rear of the winery. They also offer a variety of fruit (country) wines such as watermelon, pomegranate, and hard lemonade. This is a "very nice place" and "the owner is very friendly". "It's worth the drive" because "they make a really mellow Cabernet". They are developing wines to please every palate. With a "very friendly and inviting atmosphere", "they truly make you feel like part of the family!"
"Kissing Tree Vineyards tasting room is right on 35 in an old building with a lot of Texas Chic very comfortable surroundings". The place "has an outdoor patio area and a long tasting bar with many offerings". This is a "great stop between" you travels "from Dallas to Austin". "This is not a vineyard" but a "tasting room/restaurant" with "quaint rustic atmosphere with full leather couches making up conversation areas". "The wine is wonderful" such as the "Montepulciano Dry Red" and the "Merlot". There is also "live music" and "a nice food selection". "Stop by" and you will also enjoy "chatting with the staff" who are "professional and kind".
Formerly known as Tehuacana Creek Winery since 2014. The name change to Waco Winery and Vineyards made sense because the business would show up as “Waco winery” on Internet searches. It's a "great place to hang out and relax" with "good music and great wine". There is also a “buy the vine, buy the wine” concept they offer. In this program, a customer will purchase grapevines that Waco Winery will plant, care for and ultimately produce wine specifically for the customer with grapes grown from those vines. “It’s like a super wine club,” according to the owner. They have "live music on Fridays and Saturdays" too.
