This passionate group of Aggie students created the farm to champion sustainable agriculture, facilitate experiential learning, and drive interdisciplinary research while fostering a deeper connection between the community and its food source. Today, Howdy! Farm yields a rich variety of crops and vegetables, which are distributed throughout the campus dining services and made available at local farmers markets in Houston and Bryan. Their dedication to sustainable farming practices and community outreach has made Howdy! Farm an essential part of the A&M campus and the Bryan-College Station Brazos Valley community.

HerbanEggs has "the best customer service and best organic eggs!" It is "delicious" and "the chickens are beautiful and well cared for". The chickens are also registered with the Texas Animal Health Commission and of National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP).
