The Ole Dad Farm in Weimar, Texas, produces vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Some of their crops are pumpkins, gourds, green and yellow beans, all bell, hot peppers, and some tomatoes. During late fall to early winter, they have spinach, various lettuces, radishes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, carrots, sweet potatoes, leeks, and green onions. And during late spring to summer, they have some green vegetables and yellow beans, squashes, tomatoes, bell and hot peppers, cucumbers, and many more! Most of their fruits are available during early spring except pears that are available during summer and oranges during early winter. Ole Dad Farm offers a range of brown and green eggs, and they have available fresh processed chicken and turkeys. This family-owned and operated operation does everything hands-on, from growing their own fruits and vegetables to producing their local raw honey and raising free-range chicken and duck eggs. Catch them in local farmers markets selling their harvests such as cucumbers, squash, zucchini, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, bok choy, cabbage, along with the eggs and honey!

Gundermann Acres is owned and operated by Garrett and Stacie Gundermann. Originally named Gundermann Farms, Garrett took over running the farm from his parents in 2009. He is a fourth-generation farmer, and, with his wife Stacie, has two children. The farm grows over 90 varieties of fruits and vegetables! Gundermann Farms only used to grow peaches when Garrett’s grandparents were running the farm. In the 1990s, his parents expanded the farm’s operations and grew a variety of fruits and vegetables. When Garrett and his wife took over, they christened the farm Gundermann Acres. These days, with help from real and adopted families, friends, and staff, the farm participates at two Houston area farmers markets – Urban Harvest at 2752 Buffalo Speedway (from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm) and Imperial-Sugarland at 234 Matlage Way (from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm).

Knopp Branch Farm supplies its produce to top chefs and restaurants in Houston. Once family owned and operated, it has over the years evolved as a volunteer-operated farm that grows heirloom vegetables and fruits including heirloom tomatoes, eight varieties of eggplant, rare “cheddar” cauliflowers, among others. They choose crops and varieties prized for their incredible flavors. Although not certified organic, the farm follows organic methods and don’t use chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Volunteers are invited to join to obtain hands-on organic farming experience, and learn more about it. One of their primary goals is to teach people the merits and advantages of organic farming.

Dos Brisas Farms is located at "The Inn at Dos Brisas" in historic Chappel Hill. There is a wide variety of certified organic vegetables throughout the year aside from being Certified Organic. From a historic ranch that became a five-star luxury ranch resort, this is "a terrific getaway that is so conveniently close to the Houston airport". It "is a self-contained organic farm that offers upscale fine dining (at a very reasonable price relatively) with an amazing wine collection". There is also "great food with fantastic service". Plus, "the views are great and it’s a very relaxing place for a quiet charming date". Highly recommended as a "must-do visit" for those who "like horses".
