The Ole Dad Farm in Weimar, Texas, produces vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Some of their crops are pumpkins, gourds, green and yellow beans, all bell, hot peppers, and some tomatoes. During late fall to early winter, they have spinach, various lettuces, radishes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, carrots, sweet potatoes, leeks, and green onions. And during late spring to summer, they have some green vegetables and yellow beans, squashes, tomatoes, bell and hot peppers, cucumbers, and many more! Most of their fruits are available during early spring except pears that are available during summer and oranges during early winter. Ole Dad Farm offers a range of brown and green eggs, and they have available fresh processed chicken and turkeys. Their pigs are fed with a natural diet if grains. The farm is open every day, but please call them before coming to reserve a scheduled time for you! Come and visit!

On four acres of land, the Medina Farm is a small biodynamic and sustainable farm in Wharton, Texas. The owners Noe and Debra Medina combine conventional concepts. These concepts encourage natural and self-sustaining practices. Moreover, they offer homegrown pasture-raised chicken & beef and seasonal organically-grown produce. Also, they sell select products for healthy eating. These products include goat milk soaps, lotions & essential oils. Also, their poultry is guaranteed non-GMO, soy-free, antibiotic-free, and hormone-free. You can buy their merchandise and farm products at Provisions Bistro & Market in downtown Wharton from Mondays to Saturdays, 10 am to 6 pm. Established in 1984, the Indian Hills farm has been dedicated to organic farming practices since the 1970s, making organic principles an integral part of its foundation. By 2001, the farm achieved official certification as an organic farm. At present, the farm offers an extensive selection of fruits and vegetables. Their range includes figs, pears, lemons, and persimmons, along with lettuces, eggplants, zucchinis, Asian cucumbers, and exquisite heirloom tomatoes. Particularly noteworthy are their sought-after tomato varieties, such as Brandywine, Cherokee Purple, Caspian Pink, and Mortgage Lifter, all renowned for their exceptional flavor profiles. Complementing their produce, the farm also raises cattle, including purebred Angus and Devon/Angus crossbreeds. Maintaining a closed herd system ensures that all their beef originates solely from the farm itself, guaranteeing its authenticity and provenance.
